1. When did you become a wrestling fan?
I became a wrestling fan at a very young age I can remember watching it with my grandad when i was around 5. I can even remember one of the first matches I saw was Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon and I was hooked from there on.
2. Was becoming a wrestler a long term dream of yours?
Yeah of course all I could ever see myself do is wrestle that is all I have ever wanted to do.
3. How did you get involved with becoming a wrestler?
I can remember it being hard because all I wanted to do was wrestle but I couldn’t find a wrestling school anywhere so I tried to do other things such as play football, judo and I even trained in Jui-Jitsu and MMA for a few years but none of them could fill that gap until I was doing some work on a computer one day and got bored so I Googled wrestling schools in my local area and found a wrestling school about 10 minutes away.
4. When did you make your in ring debut and how were you feeling?
I made my in ring debut in early 2009 and I can remember feeling so nervous because I didn’t know until a minute before the doors opened and the crowd came in but lucky for me I had a few people backstage who I had trained with and they were able to help me though and manage my nerves.
5. Is there a wrestler that you tried to model yourself against?
Yeah there are a few I have always enjoyed wrestlers such as Vader and Dr Death Steve Williams so I try to wrestle a style very similar to them I also love Stan Hansen but I also try to mold myself after people like Jake Roberts and Rick Rude who I believe not only is their in ring work amazing but psychology wise they are two of the best but while I feel its okay to be influenced by other wrestlers I try not to copy them.
6. Do you watch a lot of wrestling from the UK scene?
Not really but I do watch most of the other matches on the shows that I am on if you can class that.
7. Do you think that wrestling will ever have another “big boom”?
I feel it will weather that is in 6 months or 60 years I think it will have.
8. Who on the UK scene do you think will be the next to make it the WWE or TNA?
I don’t really know I think its hard to call as there are so many talented people in the country but I also feel its really hard to say what those guys are going to do or are looking for.
9. What promotions have you worked for so far?
I have worked for FCW, AWE, Ironfist Pro, K-Star, SWA among others but I mainly work for PWL because just the volume of shows they do keep me busy and they are all really nice guys.
10. What promotions would you love to be apart of in the future?
I love to travel so I would like to be able to go and see a few other parts of the world of course I would love to go to Japan but that’s one of the main things that go hand in hand with wrestling I believe is the travel and that’s if you’re lucky enough you can see some amazing places and meet some amazing people.
